Dr. Khalil Ahmad Mohmand
Khalil Ahmad Mohmand works as president of Max Global Consulting Services (MGCS) in Afghanistan. The MGCS is a Kabul based consulting firms that facilitates medical tourism for those Afghan patients who seek care outside of Afghanistan. Dr. Mohmand graduated from Kabul Medical University, School of Curative Medicine. He received a diploma in international health from Swiss Tropical Institute (STI), Basel, Switzerland. He received a Master Degree in Public Health from the University of Saint Louis, School of Public Health, the United States of America in Health Policy from 2007-2009. He received a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Preston University, Islamabad Pakistan.
From 2006 to 2007 Dr. Mohmand Served as Executive Director for Social and Health Development Program (SHDP) a national organization. SHDP is working in Health, Education and Research.
Between 2003 -2006, He Served as Health Program Director for Care of Afghan Families (CAF) a national organization. CAF is working in Health and community development.
Between 2002– 2003, He was member of South Asia Regional Network on HIV/AIDS (SARNHA) and represented Afghan Red Crescent Society in that network.
From 1998 to 2001, Dr. Mohmand worked as clinical practitioner in the department of Internal medicine of ARCS Hospital in Kabul.
In addition to his professional work, he serves as trustees’ member of CAF. He is Member of Graduate Students Health Policy Association (GSHPA), Saint Louis, USA. He serves as an executive board member of Afghanistan National Public Health Association. In 2006, he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship by the Department of State of U.S. to get education in the United States.
